Your Dental Trip to Merida: A Guide to Combining Dental Health and Tourism in Mexico
Hello, future Whiteliners!
We are The Whiteline Crewand we are here to accompany you on your trip to Mexico, because not only will you be visiting Yucatan for your dental treatment, but also to see the wonders of our region.
Merida is one of the safest and most beautiful cities in Mexico, and we want you to enjoy it to the fullest while entrusting your smile to our team.
At Whiteline, we've perfected a process that makes getting treatment here simple and stress-free. It all starts with a free video call where we can get to know each other, review your case and make sure we're the best fit for you. If everything falls into place, we help you plan your first trip, which, if it's an exploratory trip, would typically take 3-5 days, to meet us in person, perform the appropriate diagnostics and, of course, begin exploring the area. To learn more, visit our Dental Tourism page or schedule a video call.
The best part: our clinic is in a very attractive area of Merida! We are located in Colonia Mexico, a centrally located and well-connected area that is the perfect starting point for your adventure in Mexico.
Here are our favorite recommendations for recreational hours, starting as close to the clinic as possible:

Short on time between appointments or prefer not to move around too much? These places are just a short ride away, taking a quick ride on Uber or Va-y-Ven public bus routes.
En la zona Centro (<15 min en Uber):
For a bite (and a drink!): We recommend you try the energy of the Market 60. It is a night market full of food trucks, bars and live music. It's the perfect place for a relaxing evening after your consultation.
For a quick dose of culture: Take a stroll up to the majestic San Ildefonso Cathedral in Mérida and admire the 42-meter-high Renaissance façade. Right next door, the Government Palace houses impressive murals that tell the history of Yucatán.
A un corto viaje (<10 min en Uber):
To feel elegant: Paseo Montejo is our version of Les Champs-Élysées. It's perfect for an afternoon stroll, to have a coffee or visit the Gastronomic Corridoron Calle 47. We recommend renting bikes on Sunday mornings to ride around the area and ride to the La Plancha Park. Check out this list of points of interest on Paseo de Montejo.
For authentic flavor: Visit the Barrio de Santiago and experience local life and eat some cochinita tacos at the Taqueria La Lupitain the municipal market!
"Winning Tip: Forget the Va-y-Ven app and use Google Maps to build your routes."

For foodies and those looking to relax:
Not to be missed: We highly recommend a tour of the corners of Mérida, with Larisa López and Fernanda Camacho of Suburbios de Mérida.
Hidden Gem: Experience total relaxation with a Temazcal ritual at a local hacienda; it is the perfect way to recover after your procedure.
