What is Caries and Why Should We Treat It?
Caries is a bacterial infection that gradually destroys the tooth and weakens the tooth structure. If it is not treated in time it could advance towards the nerve, requiring endodontics, increasing the risk of fractures.

When decay is already present, resins (or "fillings") are our preferred material to restore the tooth.
